I would echo what Mark said about neck trauma. That's worth getting looked at. If you do have a neck injury, you might find that you'll have to pay attention to your posture when you get back to hair styling. Standing for extended periods of time, working your arms and hands a lot, could cause you to adopt stances that don't properly support your neck and head. I had whiplash from a side-impact car accident, but my physical therapists spent most of the time actually working on my core, strengthening those muscles first, so that I didn't fall back into slumping when I sit, or standing sort of swayback, or "turtling" my neck and shoulders when on the computer. They were right -- the core work really helped!

Any time you start to struggle to understand the lecturer or to read a line of text, that is your brain saying "I have had enough."

Pushing through usually means you will extend your recovery. There is no free lunch with PCS recovery. Your brain needs less stress. You need to figure out how to moderate your activities if you want to improve.

Sweet,

Pins and needles occur in me under stress as well..sometimes it doesn't take much stress to bring it on.

Thus far nothing terrible has become of it other than the anxiety of thinking something terrible will become of it.
