Anxiety can cause a symptom that was previously ignored to become more noticeable without that symptom increasing. That is one of the biggest challenges with PCS. One can easily get focused on an ignorable symptom such that it start to take over. It can be a 'chicken or the egg' situation. Did noticing the symptom cause anxiety or did anxiety cause the symptom to be noticed.

I find that the occasional symptom will pass if I just let it. If I pay attention to it and ask myself, When is this going to go away ? or other such self-perpetuating questions, the symptom will remain front and center. Finding an activity or project to stay busy with often helps me forget the symptom.

I have to stop momentarily when I get up from a chair or start to move too quickly to let things settle down. If I ease into movements, I can increase the movement intensity without a problem. It is the sudden changes that cause that dizzy feeling. But, for me, it always goes away.
