I thought I should give an update since it has bee so long since I logged in.
I am finally back to work full time. Official this week. I'll admit I have moments when it is too much, but my employer is good and lets me have breaks when I need them. I haven't started back drumming. I've decided to take a years break from it. My Chiropractor has been amazing. I had my final impact test and evaluation yesterday, and he says that, although he is concerned with my complaints of intermittent issues, he feels strongly that I am headed in the right direction. I was told to contact him immediately if symptoms increase again, or new ones present themselves. And to continue my eye exercises. I went to my ent specialists appointment. She diagnosed me with a collapsed eustachian tube, along with deformed eustachian tubes to begin with. I have been put on a nasal spray corticosteroid with the expectations that it will either sort the problem after 4-6 weeks, or I will need tubes put back in. Only one week after the sprays started, I had a sneezing fit and my ear POPPED! I sat there in disbelief for a few seconds and then I attempted to wander around and make variou noises. Lol. Things weren't 100%, but the difference was enough o make me cry. Since then, it has improved even more. Still not completely healed, and some days my ears throb, so I may still need to go back for the tubes. But I am patiently waiting for the full usage time of the spray.

I plan on checking back in occasionally, but Mark from Idaho, I just really wanted to say THANK YOU!!!!! You honestly helpe me during easily one of the scariest points in my life and I would have never made it through this with my sanity without your guidance and knowledge and patience.

I wish you a lifetime of amazing things!

I'm not completely out of the darkness, but I can definitely see the light ahead!

Mark recently helped me too. A wonderful asset to this site and to our soceity in general. Because of the help he's give me I'm going to use my skills in technology repair to help people on this site. Since I saw there is a forum for that ;P.

Stumbling on this site during my panic riddled hours of information seeking was easily one of the best things that could have happened to me. And having Mark fill me in on such pertinent information so quickly and provide me with important questions to be asked (that I never would have known to ask) was honestly a God Send. I wish Idaho was a bit closer, Mark, I'd have liked to take you out for lunch and say Thank You in person.

Again, words aren't enough. This world is lucky to have such a knowledgeable and caring person in it.

Katie
