I have not had any success with topamax, elavil, pamolar and a few others as the side effects have been worse than the original headaches, dizziness and nausea.

The only over the counter med that I use is 5-HTP 100mg/bid. This has lessened the intensity and frequency of my headaches, but has not totally alleviated them.

Hope this helps!
