EANH,
Your post sounds like my play book. I has been 23 months now and things are much better but I still must pay attention...for instance. I went to my granddaughters 4H fundraiser last year and was on a very short time frame due to noise, lighting and people everywhere. This year I stayed for the entire event but had to step outside a couple of times to be in the quiet, it was a big accomplishment. Last year I couldn't even walk because it wound me up so bad it took hours to come down. Now I am at the gym again, it does require some pacing and rest every few days to let my head calm down again but it is way forward progress. One other item you mentioned was worth the anxiety, if you get my drift and I did get very anxious after. Bud Bud |

Thanks for the reply bud,
so i take it you no longer get the anxiety after the deed is done! Did you have any tingling that accompanied the sensation, my left ear and the surrounding area seem to begin to tingle when i over do it, I am thinking this is a blood flow problem and perhaps I should just carry on , fight through the anxiety and let my brain sort itself out, and begin to loosen my neck muscles to improve circulation. The strange thing is that this reaction wasnt always here, it only started happeneing after christmas (along with all the sensitivity to movement) I did see a chiropractor a few months back and im thinking perhaps the muslces around my neck have seized up again, time to get stretching (very slowly)! |

EANH,
I am much better off now. When I remembered that there are some things it is ok to be wound up for I started doing better. In a weird sort of way there were many things that were familiar but some of the sensations were foreign...I have had to relearn many things I already knew. A for instance...I remembered that you get stiff and sore from a hard exercise but I couldn't remember what it felt like and when I was able to get back to the gym I had to ease my way back into what exercise felt like and what was acceptable stress. It all felt foreign yet the concepts and skills were still there. Bud |

Eanh,
I opted not to...not without pressure from the docs though. Strictly a personal choice but I do wonder at times if I made the correct decision. Bud |
