I was off work 2.5 months due to my symptoms: personality change, couldn't do much as I would get dizzy, slurred speech, running words together or mixing them up (which at times were funny but still disconcerting), short-term memory loss, and a whole list of other symptoms. I could tell anyone off and not feel bad about it, which was weird as that is NOT me at all.
The circumstances here duplicate my own...
The only difference is my I am much more placid, passive where I was not before...

I'm 4 months into it and I'm seeing a real and quick end to my PCS.

Cheergirl: I was the same. It made me flat and passive which is not like me at all. I'm finally seeing my old self return along with all of my regular emotions. I have to say, in some odd way it was nice to be flat during PCS because otherwise, the other symptoms would have bothered me more.

I kept thinking, I should feel bad about this or angry but I never did. I could get there now if I dwelled on it but because I'm better, I can't feel much but excited.

It all sort of worked out like my brain was sheltering me from getting too excitable when it really couldn't handle/process it.

Thanks for this post. Gives me hope. Oh- I'm 37... Well, we'll see.

How long have I had it?

Too long.

One year on Friday. The only anniversery I've ever hated besides 9/11.

I hope to be healed by 7/15.

Like the Harry Potter billboard says: 7/15- It All Ends.

Those are the dates of my concussions.

Headache
Dizziness
Light Sensitivity
Sound Sensitivity
Irritability and Anger
Concentration Problems
Trouble Following Conversations or Written Stories etc...
Constant fatigue
Pressure in my head
Heat and Cold Sensitivity
Listlessness
Trouble Translating what I hear into something that makes sense
Clumsiness
Dullness of Thought
Any Heart-rate increase = more of the above (therefore no exercise)
etc...

Anyways, speaking of fatigue, I need to try to aggressively fight it by making ZZZZZ's
Good Luck!
God Bless!
