Default Feeling pulse in neck/head

One of the weirder symptoms (not PCS) after my head injury 7 months ago is that I can at times feel the blood pulsing through the back of my neck into the back of my head (my concussion was in the back/top of the head) in rhythm with my heartbeat. Does anyone else experience this? It isn't all the time, but definitely when my pulse is raised from exercise. I have since quit imbibing, but alcohol would give me the same sensation as well. Taking a nice hot bath will also give me this effect.) I know my neck is a little tight, but not what I would consider really stiff. I've seen a chiropractor a handful of times to do some neck work but nothing has relieved this symptom. I brought this up with my last neurologist but he didn't seem to have an answer.

Is it kind of a " hear it inside your head", whooshing pulse sounds?
look up bruit, to see if that fits...

Does chiro only adjust ? or does soft tissue work also...
When my neck muscles tighten up, I hear the bruit sound.

I only have been getting adjustments, but have been thinking about more soft tissue work lately to see if that helps.

I don't believe there's any whooshing sound but I will pay more attention the next time I feel the pulse. Thanks!

I get this exact same thing. Sorry, I haven't figured out what it is either. My doctor said maybe it is some sort of headache without pain? I can't really figure out what triggers it, but feel like it may be related to fatigue. It almost feels like my heart is struggling to pump blood to my brain. At least it has diminished in frequency and intensity over time for me.

If you figure anything out, let me know
