Default TBi & pain disorders

Has anyone else been Dx'd with a chronic pain or related disorder after TBI? Besides headaches that many report, and whiplash or other neck/cervical spine, have head injurys resulted in more problems w/ pain...

Iwas Dx'd w/ Post Traumatic Fibromyalgia following accident when I was hit by car.
FMS refers to widespread body pain & other dysfunctions --inc. headaches, sleep issues, fatigue, cognitive dysfunctions and much more. More Drs/professionals feel FMS is CNS -Central Nervous system dysfunction. since no pathology exists in the muscles or other fibrous tissues (as the name/dx implies. (tho a DR did refer to it as CNS "myalgia")

I've read articles & research that cite many disorders (FMS, myofacial pain, etc) occuring after TBI

Article about Post Traumatic FMS
http://www.immunesupport.com/library...le.cfm/ID/4143

addresses Neurocomponents, how brain can become overwhelmed and "gets stuck"--by head injury, severe stress, etc.--and causes severe dysfunction in body.
SyNaps was discussed as treatment.

PCSMcGee-- is that treatment you had?? I recall you did mention pain issues. Was there a specific DX??

Hope to hear from others, esp. what helped & UPdates....
