Matrix Repatterning sure looks like a similar technique to what my PT did. Her Myofacial Release was almost as deep as Rolphing. 'Her eclectic style combines manual therapy (hands on osteopathic myofascial and joint mobilization treatment influenced by the Rolfing technique and Jones strain / counter strain technique) with neuromuscular re-education (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), Aston Patterning, and Feldenkrais).'
PNF and Aston sounds similar to Matrix Repatterning.
There are many different combinations of skills and disciplines that can be effective. My PT uses the whole range to get the most beneficial result.
We have a saying, When you are finished, she will have left her fingerprints on your body. The pain can be uncomfortable but the relief is almost instant.
