I would listen to Mark, he has a very good understanding of PCS and has been on these forums for much longer than most of us suffered PCS.
As for cardio/exercises - this is how I messed up my brain the first place, trying to exercise too early in the process. Later on I learned about the "Buffalo Protocol" and have been trying to do short consistent cardio workouts on a stationary bike monitoring my HR and symptoms. Your points are all valid, but don't assume that it hasn't been tried by many on this forum. All concussions are different, and while 6 weeks seems like a long recovery for you, it's nothing compared to years many of us suffer. Again, I would urge you to be very careful, take this short recovery as a miracle and try not to get another concussion, as you might find out the hard way what many of us are going through. Another thing to consider is that while you think you don't have any symptoms it might not necessarily mean so. For example after my last concussion I realized that I've been having symptoms all along, just never correlated them with multiple smaller concussions I got while boxing. |
