So I went ahead and did my first session. The first filter they recommended was Neurasthenia, which is a light purple and they suggested that for 2 minutes. Then Mu-Upsilon for 30 seconds.
I decided to sit in a dark room with an incandescent bulb but I put it on the floor below the height of my desk so that it would light up the room but I couldn't see the bulb directly. I had all other lights off and the door closed. I'm honestly not sure it went all that well. I still got a little bit of the forehead pressure that I had experienced before but it was at least less severe this time. My anxiety levels are also up a little afterwards but I guess maybe that was to be expected since I was getting back on the horse for the first time in a while and wasn't sure what was going to happen. Anyway, did you ever experience any kind of pressure on your forehead during syntonics? That happened to me somewhat intensely with my prior long sessions and was a little mild with this one but was honestly hoping I just wouldn't feel anything this go around. |

Well my friend I'm sorry to report that overnight after my first session things are now worse. Eyes are even more sensitive, my head feels tight, have some nausea, and just overall very overstimulated. I think you may have said at one point that it happened to you a few times along the way so hopefully this is just a bump in the road. Regardless I guess 2.5 minutes was still way too much for me. I've read about people doing it with their eyes closed and still getting the effect of the filter so that may be what I try next time but I'm going to just take a few days off after that failed session. Thanks for any thoughts you may have at this point. |

One day at a time.
If the treatment is worse off than without it, then stop. My grandpa had surgery and post surgery he had problems with his arm. He told the doctor, "My arm hurts when I do this," as he lifted his arm." The doctor said, "Then don't do that." Sometimes you gotta laugh. Comedy has done me well over the years. |

I've done maybe 7 sessions since that post and reaction. We made the adjustment to just do 30 seconds per filter and to do them with my eyes closed. Things have been mostly uneventful since then though after doing it this morning it may be a little bit of an adverse effect so will have to monitor. Symptoms have been somewhat improved over last few days with the light but still a ways to go on it. I'm still not even close to being able to watch TV with the motion on the screens now bothering me. Let me know if you have any tips on how to maybe make that work or if it's just a matter of having to let things calm down over time. |

The suggestions I have are:
Continued discipline and patience. Fish oil and vitamin A - carrots, pumpkin puree (pie filler), sweet potatoes - these I feel do help. It could be a placebo, but regardless, the body needs sufficient nutrients. As far as the motion on screens, I used to have real bad problems with it too. It's rarely an issue. If you are on a computer, you can close your eyes as you scrolll. |
