Anyone can advice on where to go? I tried georgetown rehabilitation but really they did not do much other than making me walk on a treadmill which always made me feel worse.
Apparently there is research backing the usefulness of VRT, but I need a good place with concussion experience. I tried topomax a month ago (was told I might have MAV) boy did it set me back months... Thanks I am also thinking about trying all the possible treatments listed here Post-Concussion Syndrome: Possible Therapies | MomsTeam I am really losing hope |

NEVER lose hope!!
From my experience, the vestibular therapists are growing in popularity and at many physical therapist locations now. The difficulty is with, like you say, finding someone that knows what they are doing. You might want to try Physiotherapy Associates - which is where I had mine done where I live. Looks like they have them in DC. If nothing else, it is worth a phone call to investigate. |
