Pcs,

I started vision therapy in January of this year. I was able to do 13 sessions before my busy from summer work schedule would not allow anymore, I will start back next week.

It has been a huge help for me. I had tracking and convergence problems and am much better, though not what my 55 year old 20/10 vision pre accident was by any means.
I am doing things I could not do at this time last year, I'll take any improvement.

I have been wearing a prism in the left eye since mid January and I don't mind it one bit. I had a pair of bifocals made in May and couldn't use them, my right eye would twist in knots as soon as I put them on. I was able to get back to the doc 2 weeks ago and the prism had been put in the wrong eye, got that fixed and I am working at getting adjusted to the bifocals.

Slow process but it is going the right direction.

Thanks Bud. That sounds encouraging. I'm curious as to what sort of symptoms you were having prior to the therapy and then compare that to after? I know when I started Vestibular therapy, the back of my head would 'whoosh', cause severe headaches, and significant eye pain.

I am supposed to do mine twice a week for 10 weeks when I start. If it makes me feel better, I will wear the prisms for sure.

Appreciate the responses!

Main symptoms were
1. When trying to focus on an object it would move back and forth, I would lose focus with my left eye and bring it back into focus and lose it again.

2. Had a difficult time walking a straight line in crowds. Same room, no crowds, no problem. With crowds I would try to veer right.

3. Anxiety was way high when eyes acted up.

4. Had a difficult time sending where motion was coming from under the right circumstances.

All of that is much better now with the exception of when I am quite fatigued.
