Default Very complex symptoms that started to occur. What's wrong with me?!

So in January of 2016 I got a concussion when a trunk door slammed my head. Since then I've been battling with dizziness, very poor memory, problems thinking, headaches, all those post concussion symptoms. I'm 18 years old, about 1-2 months ago or so I started getting a stiff type of pain in the middle finger- ring finger section of both my hands and in my toes as well. My palms would kind of get a cramp like feeling as well. Then about a week ago, I noticed that my right middle finger started to kind of twitch. It wasn't happening all day but it would randomly twitch. It's still happening, and then my right toes started to kind of have a weird spasm like twitch. The spasm like twitches are now also happening to my left foot. The foot twitches now basically happen all day. My hands and feet both kind of feel stiff, especially my right middle finger. I'm extremely nervous on what could be wrong, I'm nervous that I may be getting Parkinsons but I'm 18 and it's very uncommon to get something like that at this age. I've had neck pain for many months and I would crack my neck so I don't know if it's tied to that or not. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong with me?

Cracking your neck is not a good idea. It can cause inflammation. Neck inflammation is a common cause of other nervous system problems. But, the neck pain suggest you do have a neck issue worth investigating. Healing a subtle neck injury is difficult, takes time and discipline.

It may be impossible to diagnose such a subtle neck injury but still be worthwhile treating your neck as if it is injured without knowing what the specific injury is. Gentle traction and vertebra mobilization can be helpful with discipline to not undo the treatment by self-cracking and other strains to your neck.

The twitches could possibly what are called "tic movements." I had these for a while, and still have an occasional twitch, but they went away with time and about a year of medication.

I've read tic movements can be a result of a neck injury and/or brain injury. When the neck injury is corrected and healed and brain health improves, they can start to go away. I also know that the more stressed you are, the more the twitches can happen.

A few times I would have these twitches before falling asleep as well.

Hope this helps.

K,

I had strange things such as that happen.

Middle toes on both feet would get stiff and sore and first two fingers on both hands would get real sore and achy.

The toes did not feel like they worked the same when walking as well, I never could figure out if I was holding them different or being stiff made them feel different.

They are all much better now. The fingers rarely border me and my hands are still again. The middle toes still get aches but I don't notice them nearly as much as in the past not do they feel odd or out of place when walking/running.

What you described sounded quite familiar to me and I can tell you from my experience it gets better.
