Hey folks,
I just took a hot bath as i thought it would be a relaxing thing to do. But once i tried to stand up I kept getting dizzy and had to sit down from keeping feeling dizzy. I did manage to stand after a bit and put a bit of cold water on my face. I was feeling decent yesterday and today until this. Now I feel foggy and am getting anxiety after this setback. I just did some breathing exercises to calm my nerves down. Did i just screw up? Will this pass? I'm concerned. |

I think it was just a temporary event. Hot baths can change blood flow. Once you have cooled down and let go of your anxiety, I bet you will be fine.

I had trouble for a good while after my accident if I had water standing in my ears for a period of time such as in the bath or pool...I took up swimming, it didn't pound my head.
When I tried earplugs and kept the water out the dizziness ceased. Bud |

Your 'off the charts' anxiety can be causing all of your new or current symptoms. Anxiety is a killer. It messes everything up. I guaranty you did not injure your brain with the hot bath.

I'm sure you'll get better too.
You may have stood up too fast after a long while lying down in a hot bath, which most likely caused a temporary disturbance in blood pressure but definitely not a new onset of PCS. I have to agree that the anxiety that it created might come in play here. Make sure you adress that. Hang I there. |

I've had too hot of baths before and super cold showers that made me feel crappy, but only for a few hours.
Now that my sympathetic system is calming down a bit, I can tolerate different temperatures better. I highly recommend looking into syntonics (syntonic phototherapy). |
