Default Getting sick a lot-Coincidence??

I am wondering if after having dealt with a serious concussion, can your immune system become affected? I seem to have gotten more sick this year and feels like once I get over one and start to get better not to long after I am down again. Is anyone aware of this as a potential aftermath? Or is it just being in the wrong place and getting infected, i.e., coincidence? I looked online a bit confusing in the medical jargon.
Thank you

Louise,

I seemed to have a run of things after my accident, kidney stones, parathyroid problems, sick easy.

All seems to be much more stable now at 2.5 years.

Louise, me too! Since I have PCS (2,5 years now) I keep getting sick all the time. I catch every virus that goes around.

Sorry to hear. Hope it gets better. I'm working on building my immune system in varying ways.

Know the feeling . . . try taking lemon or grapefruit juice and warm water first thing on rising followed with a glass of water. Has made a marked difference for me.

And ditto re gratitude of members contributions. In those early days I was too scared to tell people how my arm felt. I could swear there was a bug crawling under my skin up my arm and read on this forum of others having same sensation. Phew, I thought I was a mental case!

All the best for comIng year.
