Can I trust this eye doctor? I had a retina scan and he said with 100 percent certainty my retinas were not ****ed up. So can I trust the guy? Because I still see them sometimes when stressed out. he said with 100 percent certainty they were not detaching

When you are stressed out, you brain becomes more attentive to the floaters. When you are not stressed out, they are still there, It is just easier for your brain to ignore them. It is the fight or flight response that stress triggers.
I had the same issue a decade ago. Trust the doc.

I've noticed similar lately. Sometimes I mistake the floaters for flies/ bugs/ mosquitoes, etc. It's kind of scary because I start worrying if they are delusions or not. Of course, sometimes it IS a fly and then I'm a lot happier!
My eye doctor says everything is fine, though. |
