Exclamation New Here With Concussion & Questions

This is a little embarrassing to post but any idea if diarrhea can sometimes be like a neurologic symptom? I haven't had it in such a long time but had it like 4 times while I was working last night so that was fun. 😕 When I Google concussion and diarrhea don't see any links between them but I guess vertigo, dizziness, and diarrhea can somehow be related.

Maybe it's not related to concussion but was weird since I don't think I ate anything yesterday that would have upset my stomach. I've had some hand tremors off and on since this happened but last night it was especially bad. I had a cup of cereal for dinner & went to put cup in sink and the spoon was rattling around like crazy. At first I was like what the hell & then realized that was happening since my hand was shaking really bad. That was before the diarrhea started. Sorry if TMI

No diarrhea so far today which is good but when I went grocery shopping earlier today I felt extremely nauseous the whole time I was there. Not sure why since was only mildly nauseous before I headed over to the store. Only thing I can think of is maybe I'm more sensitive to bright lights right now then I realized so maybe it was the bright lights of the store that made me feel so queasy.

It was a little over a week ago that I fell on ice & hit my head hard & at ER they said I had a concussion. They gave me a doctor's note & 2 days ago was my first day back at work & Ive really been struggling at work these past few days (8+ hours a day of doing tech Support so being on the computer & talking on the phone the whole time) so since still having some symptoms maybe have PCS?

S,

I could see where diarrhea could be possible, if work is stressing you out currently an upset stomach can be quite symptomatic of that.

I know being on a computer has been difficult for awhile for many of us here during recovery. Talking on the phone was also for me. Combining phone and computer would have made a wreck of me at one time in my recovery.

Maybe close your eyes for a few minutes occasionally throughout the work day...let your brain decompress for a couple of minutes before you get wound up.

We are all different but my son joined me in the PCS club this year with a pretty hard helmet less fall wake boarding this summer...took him 3 weeks before he could resume an online class he was taking.
