Default Gliosis

Has anyone had or heard of someone having a gliosis show up on an Mri?

I had one on 2 mris that were taken 6 months apart. It did not change in size, shape, or color at all so my neuro (at that mayo) has said it likely is nothing and likely existed before my injury. I would love to believe this, but I have horrible symptoms right now for almost 2 years and have almost accepted I must have permanent damage.
