Default Birth control and TBI symptoms

Hi - I'm wondering if any women have noticed a connection between their TBI symptoms and birth control. I recently stopped taking my birth control (oral contraceptive) and am noticing some slight improvements in symptoms, but it's probably too soon to tell.

Anyone else notice any connections, either good or bad? Any success with different types of birth control, e.g. an IUD over the pill?

Thanks!

Hi Kate,

I actually have noticed a link. I went off birth control for 8 months last year, and my migraines completely went away. I went back on it in December and have been in headache hell ever since. It wasn't until recently that I made the connection, and I just went off it last week.

I see this post is from March. How are you doing now?

Other women with PCS have also notice oral birth control affected PCS symptoms, with headaches being the common complaint.

I got headaches when my wife put me on birth control after she became pregnant with our third child.

I know this is a serious post...please forgive me,couldn't pass this one up.
