I'm 9-10 months in since this started in July, and 5 months from my most recent head injury (the faint). I have done this PCS thing for a total of 17 months if you count my first battle with it in 2015, from which I recovered 100%. God, I was so happy when I recovered. I still can't believe I'm doing this all over again. That's what hurts the most. I feel like I blew my second chance. The plus sides are that my balance is perfect, and while I do get headaches, they are not constant and only result from overstimulation or over exertion. It's mostly the brain fog and fatigue that's killing me Also, what do you mean by specific profile? |
By specific profile, I mean the specific injuries to the brain, neck, etc. There is no such thing as a standard concussion. Every one is different. Different parts of the brain are affected. Different genetics make similar impacts cause different injuries and symptoms.
Therapies that work wonders for some are useless for others. Depression and anxiety can cause cognitive struggles. |
