Default Constant dull pain in back of head

One thing I can't seem to get rid of is a constant dull pain in the back of my head. No doctor seems to have an answer to why I have it. I've seem 4 neurologist including my gp, multiple pts, and none have answers besides maybe it's muscle related. But how can that be after 2 years? I've asked if it could be Occipital Neuralgia but none believe it could be. In fact I was told I definitely don't have it.

I've done pt, endless stretching, etc. I'm out of options so I'm hoping someone here might have am idea or a similar experience or anything.

I have a similar issue and I believe it to be occipital neuralgia as well, a result of muscles that have spasmed for so long that it has caused nerve irritation.

I also have a condition where my head tilts slightly (unnoticeable to anyone other than a professional) to compensate for a visual dysfunction. It's kind of similar to vertical heterophoria if you wanted to look that up to see if that is fitting for you as well.

Sorry that I don't have any answers myself, but I'm hoping fixing my vision will solve the migraines that are causing the neck spasms and thus leading to chronic neck pain, nerve pain, etc.

The left side of my head is achy most of the time, the injury site from my accident 3 years post.

I have come to chalk it up to being clobbered to hard, I guess.

After a high speed MVA in which the car I was driving was rear-ended by a driver who didn't brake before impact, I ended up with (among other things) pain in the back of my head. After 10 months of PT, my Orthopedic Surgeon had me start Chiropractic therapy with a doctor who specializes in chiropractic sports medicine. It has made significant difference in my progress. In addition, they identified that my C2 was "jammed" causing nerve impairment. When the chiropractor was finally able to get release (there was a very loud crack above my hairline at the back of my neck) the pain in the back of my head went away. I'm still in treatment and he still has to work on the area right now, but that's what has helped me.
