I understand it must get frustrating to answer these posts. But we haven't learnt to accept this ******** as part of our lives, and to be honest I hope I never do.
Further, many of the people posting here (myself included) experience physical and mental symptoms from these hits that would not have concerned us pre-injury. I get sharp pain in the head and feelings of fatigue, loss of concentration and difficulty thinking. I could hardly be blamed for thinking something is wrong. Thanks to treatment at a pain clinic I was able to chip away at this chronic sensitisation to the point where things like running or getting slapped on the back only produce minor pain now, and I get no cognitive symptoms. Now regarding my post, I know it was long but I said I believe I received 30g force. And anxiety does not last multiple weeks. I know this from personal experience as the anxiety events will have me back at work the next day no worries. |

I think your assumptions are extreme but you also do not include duration of the shock wave. Studies show the brain can tolerate very high Gs, in the 200 to 400 G range for milliseconds.
But, I think you are grossly missing how much distortion exists in the elbows, shoulders, and neck. Still, 30 Gs is likely just a subconcussive impact that, alone, with time to let the brain recover before another impact, is of little consequence. The whiplash to the neck would likely be most of if not almost all of the trauma. UPMC studies suggest 80% of concussion symptoms are neck/whiplash related.
