Weakness and stiffness in the hands can be due to lower neck and upper T spine radiculopathy. Sleeping with poor posture between the shoulder blades can exacerbate this. Anything in the spine to shoulder to elbow to hands nerve routes can combine to cause problems in the hands.
If you can relieve it by rinsing and massaging your hands under warm water, it can also just be inflammation due to osteoarthritis or some other inflammation cause. An unique issue to consider is how you work with your hands. Do you work with cement, concrete, mortars or grouts? Do you come in contact with aluminum compounds? Do you use aluminum based antiperspirants ? Do you use aluminum based antacids ? These aluminum compounds can cause nerve dysfunction and inflammation. Have you been assessed by a Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) who can asses your gait ? A Physiatrist who works with neuro rehab would be worthwhile. Your leg issue could be neurological. 11 months is plenty of time for an ACL to heal if you are not stressing it.
