Apart from the setback after the dinner this weekend, I haven't had a breakdown in improvement for a couple of months now, so the strategy you suggest really does work. Thank you for your advice.
Slow down yes......But I found it extremely difficult to figure out what caused my problems....
Some things are simple, loud music or over stimulation......Mine usually hits the day after....I call it "The hang over".....

I remember being outside long ago....It was windy, very windy.....The types of trees I was surrounded by moved a lot.....I was trying to watch my daughter play softball......Would you believe it was the movement of the trees that ended up messing me up! Like WTH?
Watching my favorite team, and getting to exited messed me up....

So what I am saying is it took me years to figure out the odd or strange things that would mess me up, I found that brutally difficult to figure out.

You are right, and what you are saying is important. I guess everything is a learning experience. Just this evening I noticed that I got fatigued from watching a tv series quicker than most days, and realized that what fatigued me was the sound mastering in the show. The bass from my speakers made me tired. By turning down the bass setting on the stereo reciever, I could keep watching without a problem.
