I don't worry about brands. Most of what I take is Vitacost house brand. The B-12 should be fine. B-12 can be taken in high doses. Take it on an empty stomach or let is absorb under your tongue.

The Mega Multi sounds expensive. It has so many odd things. It does have a better dose of folic acid. It would be a bit high in B-6 if you took both.

The 5-HTP may suit you better than the Cipramil. I quit it and replaced it with 5-HTP. You should not take both without knowing the signs of serotonin syndrome. I lived with serotonin syndrome from high dose paroxetine for 14 years. Yuck. I replaced the paroxetine with L-Tryptophan then needed Cipramil for most of a year then went to 5-HTP (100mg).

Nate,

Patience is a very necessary skill with PCS, I was certainly forced to acquire it!

I also thought my life was over and I would never be who I was but slowly my life returned.

There is a fine line between plugging along and not overdoing it.

Bud

Hi Bud,

Yes I too am slowly learning the art of patience.

Also trying to find the balance between overdoing it and not doing enough.

I have started reading The Brain That Changes Itself and currently have a few more books on the way, which I can spend some time reading through when I am feeling up to it.

Developing an understanding of post concussion syndrome and mild traumatic brain injury has been very helpful and something I wish to develop further in the future.

Nate
