Ady

I think I know how you feel. I constantly wish I hadn't played in that last rugby game. My doctor had said I was fully recovered from my last concussion but I didnt feel right before the game and my head wasnt in it and probably contributed to me getting injured again. I keep thinking if only I hadn't played how different my life would be right now. But my psychologist reminded me that I played because I love playing and if I didnt I would have felt like I was letting the team down. Its pointless to look back and think "what if".

I am also on Sertraline. It took a while to get over the side effects but after a few weeks I definitely felt an improvement in my mood and I did feel better. Unfortunately that has now declined but its probably because I am on too low a dose to have any ongoing benefit. I am going to try a different med. We all react differently to SSRI's.

Good luck.

Ady,
I understand how you feel. Since 3.5 years my live is not the same. Had three concussions in 2014 and then anxiety started.
When something happens around my head or I make a wrong move anxiety sets in. I start worrying about having a new concussion and I get real bad symptoms.
