Alexis, I would encourage you to check out TBILaw.com. He practices in Illinois. He is one of the most knowledgeable mTBI attorneys in the country. It is always wise to get legal advice early in the progress of an injury.

Your chiro may have taken x-rays but they do not image ligaments. He must be assuming you have torn ligaments because of the position of the vertebra. It takes very specific imaging techniques to see ligaments.

I'll look him up and give him a call, if nothing else, just to talk over my case. Thanks for the heads up!

And yes, the new chiro didn't "see" the ligament damage on the x-ray, but said the position of the vertebrae indicates ligament damage. Apologies for the misunderstanding!

Contacted the people at the law office you suggested, Mark. Will be interesting to see what they have to say once the lawyer looks over everything. The lady was very nice, thorough, and the questions were a bit grueling (she said that was intentional). Thanks for the info.

Ms,

I had a period of really scary nightmares also, they toned down to some really goofy dreams when stressed about work. Nightmares lasted only a couple of months and not every night.

I still have body temp regulation oddities, cold a lot.

Best wishes to you,

Bud

Update: saw an acupuncturist on Saturday and so many of my issues are much much better! I've now had several consecutive days of relief, my appetite has returned, I can focus, people around have noticed the difference in my face, eyes, demeanor, etc. Still have a slight headache, but I'll take that over the scary **** I was experiencing before...
