As always, you're right Mark, and I am more settled with the situation now and will try to look forward.
I do not think I've have got a concussion, but I think the hit gave me a new neck injury, or perhaps aggravated an old one. My main problem is dizziness/vertigo or perhaps more a kind of sailing feeling as well as difficulty reading / concentrating and a lot of fatigue. I try to eat healthy/anti-inflammatory, go for brisk walks, try to be as much active as possible, stretch my neck muscles, follow Marks vitamin protocol, sleep regularly and have fun with my family. I also want to start a course at a physiotherapist. I will also try to work with my posture and sleep habits. But I will very much like your opinions on the following: Are cereal products part of the anti-inflammatory diet? It seems there is a little different opinions on this. How would you treat vertigo/dizziness/sailing sensation? The accident is a week ago now - should I expect new symptoms or can I think of my situation as stable? Would you (in the ideal world) take full sick leave from work, or try to work as much as possible without feeling too bad (I am a little worried of beeing fired). I read somewhere that when having a concussion, you should rather be a little too careful, while in case of whiplash, it is okay to push the system a little more. All thoughts are very appreciated. |

When I write "you" I just mean anyone who wants to be part of this thread. Translating from norwegian to english is not always easy....
