Default LLLT: Five sessions in

They cost 100/piece. I head on this forum that the laser is too weak to penetrate the skull. But actually, I do feel it inside, not sure how deep, but I feel it below skin level and it has made me feel three times out of five worse. They also do it on the neck which I thought is good. But I feel worse after the session and more dizzy.

They reduced twice the intensity of the diode, and it is still bothersome. Wonder if this is how it should be.

I tried neuro-feedback and it also made me feel worse.

If you can get the name & some info from the equipment they use , you can "google " it for settings & strength and such.. also maybe find the recommended LLLT protocols on Pub med or other medical/science based sites..

How long do they use it per treatment area?
Can you describe how they use it during your treatment?

I will get these info (I should have done so) and get back to you.
I stay in total about 40 mins. About 5-10 mins they use a hand held laser on my head. Then they make me lay down on back, and side, and hold a laser there for about 5-10 mins on each side (back of the head/neck, and sides).

I was curious, my chiro used LLLT on my neck, elbows, shoulders wrists & even foot when they had some specific pain areas.

Each spot he treated only took about 20 seconds each..
Laser is pretty fast, LED light tools can look the same but the treatment time is more like 15/20 minutes each place..
Some places will call them by the same name or confuse them and call them LLLT, you may need to verify if it is a soft or cold laser or LED light therapy..
I would take a look at the equipment and do a web search if it doesn't clearly say laser or LED somewhere , they may not know for sure what they have or fibbing..
LED is much less effective unless you have a home machine for multiple daily treatments.

I’d purchase your own LLLT setup. I bought an LED infrared security camera off amazon that emits 850 nm wavelength with adapter for about $65. I do each area for 90 seconds on head. That’s the protocol that’s been used in LLLT studies on rats.

Can search lostfalco LLLT guide on longecity to find the protocol and how to buy the setup. Also helpful to take COQ10 with PQQ for mitochondrial enhancements
I’ve done about 30 sessions but didn’t notice anything. I think I need to take care of underlying inflammation first.

I’ve done 6 NF sessions as well which hasn’t done anything but they said can take 20+ sessions.
