Default Banged head...again!

I have been reading this forum for a while as I have been recovering from PCS for a year. And making great progress, almost fully recovered!
I've also read a LOT of posts about people hitting their heads again after PCS. Well I really went and done it this time.
Today I had a steel frame weighing about 20kg fall about 1m right onto the top of my head. I didn't black out but fell to the ground with blood gushing from my head. Got checked out at emergency and CT scan was clear. A few stitches and a small pamphlet on head injuries they gave me last time I was in the ED with a concussion that didn't go away for more than a year.
So yeah a pretty big impact and of course I can't help but think about the future. Any advice for how to treat the next few days and weeks to minimise the possibility of my PCS coming back full force?

Chere's.

Suggestions from past postings..
Take care of yourself
eat well, avoid junk food & alcohol etc..
add Vitamins from the sticky thread
don't push activities beyond what you can tolerate.
if any symptoms get worse back off from activities that aggravate ..

Sorry to hear about your accident that really sucks. Take a day to be upset and frustrated and get it out of your system and then focus on not trying to change the past but to put yourself in the best possible position for recovery moving forward.

Control your stress and anxiety from the Injury by learning to accept what happened and focus on being positive and mindful moving forward to give your body the most conducive environment for healing.

Avoid all the things you know are bad for you, take the vitamins, focus on getting good sleep, see the doctors you want to see and take it day by day. Just because you had PCS before doesn’t mean you will get it again. My second concussion after PCS of 3 years is already doing better. Best of luck.

Thanks all. I'm trying to think positive that at least this time around I know what to expect and can get moving on my recovery. Last time it took me months to find the right doctors, the right meds, the right vitamins. And the anxiety got the better of me before so I'm working very hard on not freaking out. I have to just accept it and move on.
I know that the symptoms are different for each person with PCS. For those who had another definite concussion during their recovery: were your symptoms the same or different the second time around?
Also the first time my PCS symptoms didn't show up until about 4 days after the initial concussion. This time it's been immediate: vicious headache, dizziness and that feeling of dissociation. Not sure what that means if anything. Just gonna rest for another day or so then start on some of my rehab exercises.

I wouldn’t get into the business of comparing yourself to others but For what it’s worth i had the same symptoms more or less second time around and had delayed onset like you vs the first time which was immediate.
