Default hard slap to the back

So I saw my old hockey coach tonight and when he saw me he aggressively pulled me in for a hug and gave me a few very hard smacks to the upper back. These hits where hard enough to jolt me forward and jarred me really good(im a very skinny guy).

Is this potentially harmful or cause for concern or is it just my anxiety?

Nope, not at all.....Just think how many people would be walking around with problems if that could happen?
