Default Less force required for 2nd, 3rd, etc concussions?

They say that the more concussions you get, the more likely you are to get an additional one.

Does this mean that the more concussions you get, that it takes fewer G’s of force to cause another concussion? Meaning, eventually just 10 G’s of force could cause a concussion instead of it taking 100 G’s of force?

This has always confused me and my neurologist did not seem to have an answer.

You can do a search for past posts on G forces if you would like to find that information.

But from my reading over the years there is no clear cut rule.
There is so many variables.
The easier to re injure part probably is due to a close time frames of hits , or not fully recovered from previous hits..

Think it as more of accumulated traumas to your head. As every ones TBI is different, time to heal, side effects, overall chances to get to 100% or back to baseline.

The experts claim the research says that 2nd and 3rd concussions do not happen from lesser force but there is reason to suggest that the same level of force can cause more severe symptoms. 60-80 Gs is the usually concussion threshold.

They do not consider that the upper neck injuries are more susceptible to injury because they rarely heal well. Upper neck injuries are known to contribute to many concussion like symptoms.
