Default Symptoms of a concussion?

Hello everybody. I had a rough saturday.

I slippped on some ice but luckily I landed on my back. I think I suffered some minor whip lash but its not that bad. I have a sore neck and back but I am slowly getting better.

After that happened , I went to my friends and celebrated my birthday. Had about 6 beers. It was fine.

Unfortunately, my friend grabbed a few small blankets on top of the shelf and they were rolled up )the shelf was right above my head,1 foot or 2 above me). They blakets fell on my head, while he was grabbing them. Its been two days , and I have a minor headache and I am exhausted. I don’t think I have a concussion. However, I have had 2 major concussions ( and PCS FOR 2 YEARS) and a few minor ones in my life. My head in general is so sensitive to touch, it really sucks. I think the anxiety in general is prolonging my pain.

I think to myself myself, “ a blanket can’t cause a concussion” . So, I am chalking this up to minor whiplash, anxiety and being hung over. Anyway, any feed back whould be appreciated. Keep safe..

Your absoutely right Mr.bud. i always over analyse.

its been a week, i am almost out of the woods. I hate these set backs, i am so vulnerable, my head is made of glass. However, you gotta live your life and accidents happen. I know this pain will not last forever. Thank you for listening Bud.

Anytime.

And while we are it, be careful about excess alcohol...your otherwise tough head can turn to glass quite easily from impaired judgement and skills.

Not trying to be a nag, just a practical observation.

Take care,

Bud
