Hey all,
21 Year Old Male, 8 Months out of moderate concussion and have been feeling 99% recovered, occasional dizziness with movement usually is my only symptom. For the past 3-4 days I have been dealing with an atrocious head cold. Extremely congested, ears popping, coughing quite a lot. Along with those symptoms, I have had a little bit of ringing in ears(never had before), dizziness, focus problems, and noise sensitivity. Feels like all my concussion symptoms I haven't dealt with in a while are coming back. I should add that I am now not feeling as sick and the symptoms are starting to reside a good bit. I haven't been sick in a year, but I'm wondering if this could be a relapse of concussion symptoms, or if these could strictly be symptoms of a head cold? Hoping for the latter, as before this I was almost convinced I am 100% recovered. My friends and family seem to think that it is strictly the head cold messing me up and not related to concussion at all. Planning on resting for a while until the head cold is completely gone and reevaluate any symptoms leftover then. What do you all think? |
