Hi everyone
I don't feel I've gotten specific answers; or effective treatments through my sports medicine doctors or two normal neurologists I have seen. I think everyone is getting sick of me and my questions about symptoms and minor events (to the average person) causing me symptoms. I feel like there's been changes in my brain since my injuries, but I know most normal scans don't show these. I feel like my symptoms spike from things easier than ever like my threshold is low for more injuries. What kinds of scans or tests (including functional neurologist ones) show the most evidence of our symptoms, or old injuries? Also I'm considering going to the functional neurologist clinic in Chicago Does anyone have suggestions on functional neurologists or insight on what they can see using their tests? |

Hi!
I’m also considering functional neurology clinic ( seeing one in Massachusetts this week for assessment- will update on results). Have you made the trip to Chicago yet? Hope you are feeling better |

Hello! Yes! The treatments have been helping me so far. Not perfect yet but noticing improvements in mood, vertigo flares, head “sensations” that aren’t aches per say but still aggravate me. I also have a lot of take home exercises for the eyes, mid brain, frontal cortex, and neck.
You can private message me if you wanna know more details or specific questions! The only thing so far that bothers me a bit is this big rotating machine called a gyrostim and when I do it sometimes I get a brief vertigo flare but overall I think it’s helping my motion sensitivity. Just sucks after you stop moving for a little. |
