Default I will play the guinea pig

I have convinced for a while now of a lot of PCS symptoms are caused by what Mark calls "subtle neck injuries." For quite some time I've been taking steps to try to heal my neck, with exercise, postural changes, all the usual conservative measures.

These measures have not made much difference. So, as something of a last-ditch effort (not really though -- there are a lot more drastic steps one could take that I'm only keeping in the back of my mind for the moment), I'm going to try using compounds called BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4 (also called TB-500) to accelerate soft-tissue healing in the neck. I won't try to summarize the research behind these compounds. Some Googling and reading both of research and of anecdotal reports will show that they have a great many purported beneficial effects on wound healing, ligament repair, angiogenesis, and more.

Now, I don't really know what to expect. As Mark pointed out in the one previous post about BPC-157 that I can find on this forum, almost all of the research is coming out of the same research group. There are also no published human trials of BPC. (Not sure about thymosin beta-4.) Furthermore, some of the studies seem to good to be true. So I take the research with a large grain of salt. Nevertheless I'm willing to take the risk and see what these compounds can do in my case.

I will report back with results. It might take a while because I'm trying to jump through all the hoops to get a prescription, which will then be filled at a compounding pharmacy (only slightly less dodgy than the shady "research-use-only" online sellers, but I'll take what I can get). If anyone wants more information on this process I will gladly elaborate on it.
