I understand, hek I remember those days....They are long ago...I keep it simple and alone, no argument, no confusion, no problem.

Many of us have learned we must moderate our events during Christmas.

Over-stimulation is the normal experience.

Yes me. I felt like that since Christmas eve. The meal preparation totally blitzed me. I fuzzed up and felt stressed and emotional.
I thought I was doing ok with this Pcs

Thank You, that seems to be the hard part though. How much is enough where we are included and feel a part of everything or we are outsiders. We need to stimulate our brains and condition them, but how much is too much? I seem to find out much later and pay for it with fatigue, headpain etc.

I used to plan on the over-stimulation making me miserable. I would plan to lay low the day before and after the high stress day. It was not uncommon to need a week of laying low to get back to 'my' normal.

If you were injured and stuck in a wheelchair, would you expect to be able to dance? You would hopefully wait until your body healed before stressing it.

Just because we look normal does not mean we can do what normal people do.

Thanks Mark, I knowmyou are right but Im not giving in yet to thr "new me". Its been 2 1/2 yrs and struggling good days and diffucult weeks.

Sometimes I think i might be getting early dementia but im assured Im not but its still scary. Early retiremnt is looking closer but im afraid of not challenging my brain and drifting away.

Appreciate all your comments, this really is a lonely companion to have. I have to fake im fine or make hokes about not feeling fine.

Warm wishes for a fabulous new year for everyone
