Confused Dropped my phone on my head

Hello, this is my first post, apologies if my english isn’t up to snuff, it’s not my first language.

Basically what happened was that i asked my brother to get me my phone, and he dropped it on my head from i would say a little less than arms lengh.

I didn’t really think anything of it, since stuff like that happened all the time before my concussion and it never bothered me then. Well that was a couple or hours ago, and since then i have gotten very nauseous and the concussion headache got alot worse, which is weird because it has been steady for 2 weeks now.

It’s just a normal iphone with a case with all my cards and stuff so it weighs slightly more than just the iphone, but the weight is still pretty much nothing, so i’m wondering if it actually did something or if my subconscious is anxious about it if that is a thing? I know that anxiety can cause symptoms, but as i wrote previously i didn’t even stop to think about it, and had to backtrack through recent events to find a cause for the sudden shift in my experience of symptoms.

Sorry if this question is dumb, but when i was let out of the hospital i was only told not to watch TV and relax, so i’m sort of lost on how much force it would take to make it worse. Thanks in advance

If your iPhone still works, you are fine. Your iPhone would be in pieces if it hit your head with enough force to cause any damage. 60 to 90 Gs to cause a concussion. That is like dropping a 16 lb/7 kg bowling ball on your head from 1 ft/.3 Ms. That would be OUCH.

Your hospital is years behind the times. TV is fine as long as it is not overstimulating your brain.

This is anxiety. Your blood pressure likely spiked and now you need to get it back down.

Thanks for the reply Mark. That really puts my mind at ease. I feel quite anxious after all this concussion stuff so a week ago i reached out to get regular appointments with a psychologist to give me some tools to deal with it, but now because of the extreme level of corona in my country they have all stopped taking new clients and only do over the phone conversations with their current clients. Guess i’ll have to tough it out untill corona is no longer a thing 😅

But thanks man you really helped me out 😊
