Site of impact
Does anyone know what kind of a relationship there is between the location of the impact and the resulting symptoms?
I used to think that the location of the hit was irrelevant as all regions of the brain were equally affected by its violent movement inside the skull. For my first concussions my symptoms were indeed "global" - I didn't feel anything particular at the site of impact.
But for the most recent concussions my symptoms are located at the point of impact only (forehead) - I have a localized headache and I feel the blood pumping behind the goose egg. Is this typical? Does this mean there is external trauma to the nerves?
Thank you in advance.
