Hello,
5 hours ago I got a hiccup and I tried the method "Drinking water upside-down" to get rid of the hiccup. I don't know if I did it wrong or correct, but it ended up with water going through my mouth into my nose and I got a strong burning sensation in my nose and then in my head. I may have been bending down a little too much, I don't know. After 5 hours, a part of my brain still has a burning sensation. Why is that? Could this have irritated my brain or something? |

Next time, try slowly drinking warm water the proper way to relax the esophagus muscles and nerves.
Yes, water in the sinuses is painful. It does not belong there.
