Hello Everybody. Hope everybody is having a great day.
I have been having a rough week dealing with my symptoms. My girlfriend and I were just playing around and she punched the beak or bill of the ball hat I was wearing. She didn't make contact with my head. I could feel the force of her punch thou. However, i was concerned and anxious after the fact it happened. Everything went down hill from there. For the past 7 days, I feel I have a concussion (heache, faitgue, brain fog). its awful. I go to school fulltime and I work 2 days a week to support myself. I am getting better slowly but I can't believe it. I think this is anxiety but I thought I would be over this in a few days but this is not the case.. So fustrating. Right now, I am takig more breaks during school and trying to slow down. I will get better. However, going to take time thou. Thank you for reading.. |

Raganalex,
You need help with anxiety. You did not suffer a concussion. The 60 Gs or more needed to cause a concussion would crush the bill of your hat. Seriously, you need to get help. Your mind is playing tricks on you. I have seen this Concussion Anxiety Disorder ruin lives.

Inflammation is the most likely cause of your symptoms. While recovering from a concussion, the brain's inflammatory system is on high alert and low-force impacts can trigger the brain to pump out excessive inflammation. That inflammation is what causes the symptoms.
Anxiety is linked to brain inflammation so it may contribute to the symptoms, but it is not the main factor. So take a double dose of Omega-3 DHA and Curcumin immediately after the event to slow the inflammation response. You can also take magnesium and melatonin at night to relax, calm your mind and sleep.
