My neuro mentioned that concussions do not cause any organic or structural damage to brains.
Even if it does not show on the MRI, can there still be damage? Doesn't that damage contribute to the possibility of second impact syndrome/ multiple impact syndrome? How is the shearing of axons involved in this? Any opinions? Thank you. |
