Default Can a neck flair up cause light senstivity?

Hey everyone

I've had 4 concussions over the past 3 years.

My last concussion was 10 months ago and I have dealt with PCS for 2 years.

I've gotten a lot better and can handle things that used to flare me up.

Yesterday, I was out for a drink with a mate and I was parking the car and I was kinda distracted and talking to my mate and looking sideways.

I ended up ramming my tyres into the curb. My car didn't go over it instead it stopped suddenly. I was only driving maybe 5-10km/h but I remember my head jerking hard forward and I was looking sideways so it felt even worse.

Since then, I've felt lightheaded and dizzy and even this morning felt the same.

My eyes also hurt a little in the sunlight.

I've dealt with flare ups like this before and they usually subside overnight or after a day but the sunlight sensitivity isn't something I have experienced before as a symptom.

Can whiplash cause sunlight sensitivity on the flare ups?

I'm assuming that even hitting a curb couldn't cause a concussion because even though I stopped suddenly my head didn't hit anything and I wasn't going that fast.
