Melody, It can take many months for a brain to settle down after stopping an SSRI.

I replaced a strong SSRI after 14 years with 400 mgs of 5-HTP daily. I take the Deal Supplements brand sold on Amazon. It is unique because it includes L-Tryptophan, L-Theanine, and GABA with the 5-HTP. I am doing amazing.

I needed a doctor's help for 4 months after I stopped the SSRI

Could stopping the SSRI be causing the brain fog I am experiencing?
Or is it rather due to the fall?

Would it make sense to restart the SSRI to see if I experience any improvement?

I am really at a loss because my brain fog has never been this bad before.

migraine is more than just headache, I can't post links yet, but if you google "migraine brain fog" you'll see a lot.

Oh you can also search in our forums for

Sounds somewhat similar to yours, concussion symptoms without hitting their head
