Donna,
You are probably right. It is too soon and a pretty harmless dependency. It is interesting how much he seems to rely on it. He never forgets to pack it etc., when we go away. He really finds it helpful. This is from a 16 year old who forgets his toothbrush.

The reason I don't blame him is because I know that even at times with all the other issues I have. Sometimes its the pcs things like the neck spasms
that come back to haunt me that really make sleeping hard. And I really wish
I had something that worked all the time. But I can't do something that would make me just sleep through. Because I have to be able to wake up at the drop of a hat. BEcause I have a 16 year old that has night time and day time seizures. And I'm technically the only one that hears him.

Thankfully his 22 year old brother who sleeps in the room across from him, will at times if they are early enough in the night. But most of the time, its me.

But lately after my hose, I slept good. Then I started having blood pressure problems, so then I have new problems and I sleep off and on all day some days. So now I have neck problems again and can't always sleep just any time at night because the pain gets bad. I am using my machine again, but I finally found a pillow to go around my neck at night and its helping alot with
the need for something for support.

My physical therapist wont believe the things I've had to do just to be comfortable when I tell them tomorrow.

Sigh

Donna,
You do have alot of problem solving challenges. I'm sorry to hear your son has the seizures so frequently. Are these break through seizures on medications. I'm sure you are a wonderful mother.
