Is a major depleter of nutrients to the body.
Low folic acid is implicated in depression and other CNS problems. B12 -- please visit our Vitamin forum B1 Thiamine -- which is necessary for the nervous system Calcium Vit D both serious issues, and Vit D today esp is being tested for. Many of your symptoms may reflect low status of these nutrients. You can have folic acid tested as well as Vit D. If you test for B12 also get a MMA test which is more accurate. Any level below 500 for B12 is questionable (USA standards are antiquated as normal here) I think you need to address nutritional issues for your depression, because of the drugs you are on for so long!

HI Jeffn - when you have received your book and had a good study of it can you let us know what you think. I managed to fall over again on Friday so am over tired again and am spending all my energy on maintaining my 3 hour days at work. Thanks, Lynlee

TO Lynlee Sorry to hear about your fall no fun and it seems to be a pattern with those with TBI/PCS.
I should receive the informational book on neurofeedback this week as the book store here had to order a copy and I'll keep everyone posted on what I learn about the type of therapy. I'm very excited about this and think it maybe part of the solution. Looks like DaveStrand is making a great deal of progess here as he has already order the equipment and has done a great deal of research on neorofeedback looking forward to what he finds out. Take Care and get well. Jelln PS: You may want to think about wearing a bike helmet for awhile to protect your head until you get your balance back. PREVENTION |

Jeffn - I need a stabilizer for my brain - kind of like a ship and maybe a force field around me with some kind of alarm to let me know when I am about to hit my head - maybe I could have outriggers like todlers have on the bikes !!! Have to laugh really -

Lynlee, If I where looking for a bike helment I would look for a bright pink one with racing stripes or maybe flames.
You could ware it to work I think this would be a real confidence builder for your clients. Ya THINK Good to see you have a since of humor about this. My book just came in so I'm off to book land. Take Care. Jeffn: |
