Grin On a lighter note - what is the funniest thing you have done?

We need some humour - so the funniest thing that I remember doing is:

I needed to get something out of the boot of my car at the office. Trotted down the stairs and then realised that I was standing in front of the photocopier trying to "beep" my car remote at the lid on the copier. derrrrr!

Default Hi Lucy

To Lynlee, Wait a minute I'll have to think on that one for a while.

Good to see a sence of humor

Default Got lost at work

Granted I've always been directionally challenged- but this was kind of ridiculous!

I usually go down a flight of stairs to grab a sandwich when I'm at work. The stairs are right in the open between our kitchen and mailroom- two places I go to several times a day.

In other words, you can't miss them.

So there I was with my wallet in hand, walking past one of my co-workers who was waiting for an elevator. I kept going toward who knows where- but it was a dead end.

Sadly, our elevators are slow- so I had to walk past him again after I figured out that was lost.

He said, "Ummm- are you lost?" (Probably thinking I was either very preoccupied or on drugs!). I had to admit that I was. I couldn't for the life of me remember how to get to those stairs. I just kept on walking until I remembered.

The floor I work on isn't that big, for Pete's sake!

There are most likely more embarrassing things that I've done- but this is the one that comes to mind.

Default Yep I know what you mean

Have you ever put the wrong soap in the washing machine, I did once. Went out to run an errand came back 2 hours later opened the front door and there was a wall of soap bubble floating out the door, I had 18" of soap bubbles on my kitchen floor.

Soap bubble are really hard to clean up as they just float around and it was like a 6 hour job to get these soap bubbles cleaned up. Not A FUN day at the office.

The good news is my kitchen floor got really really clean that day.

TBI/PCS multi tasking.

The funniest thing I did was while working as a nurse I had a smoking buddy CNA and one day we were unable to go out together so when I was outside there was a creepy guy there that kept staring at me cleaning his nails with a small pocket knife and for some reason he just made me very uncomfortable, so anyway I went back in and told my bud she could go out and warned her about this guy and how weird he made me feel and later when we got off he walked by me with my bud and smiled and she laughed and said hey want to meet my brother I felt like a idiot! But we got some laughs over it for awhile.

Smile If you can't laugh at yourself - - -

Funny stories – boy, I could write a book!! – and that’s just about the incidents I remember… We’ll ignore the simple ones, like turning too early in my neighborhood and trying to walk into a house that wasn’t mine - - - -
How about deciding to make a nice, comforting cup of tea – First time – the kettle goes on, boiling water into the cup, add milk and sugar – hmm tastes good, but a little weak perhaps – could it be that I hadn’t added a tea bag!!!!
Second time, some days later – ok – teabag into the cup (I remembered!) – water from the kettle into the cup, milk, sugar etc. Sip – ughh – perhaps plugging in the kettle and letting the water boil would have been a better option than pouring in cold water from the kettle..

Of course we have all left the house and forgotten something – and we have to turn round and go back and get it - - how about four times? – Forgot my coffee, went back, annoyed. Wallet still in the house, getting a little ticked off. Need my cell phone – back again, quietly cursing. Mail I was going to post – still on the kitchen counter – now getting pretty mad – slammed the house door and went to the car – locked, went to the house door – locked – keys on the counter where the mail had been…….. Stood in the drive, grinning like a fool, cause getting mad at myself had left me with a REAL problem of trying to break into my own house!!!
