Just Checking In
Hey everybody, I just wanted to drop in and report some good news... virtually all of my symptoms have gone away. No more "fog" or head "aches". I'm back to exercising even. When I first started running again it seemed to make me feel a touch "off", though usually it subsided within half an hour of exercising. It wouldn't surprise me if it had something to do with blood pressure. Now I only notice the vaguest of symptoms... when I'm pushing myself way to hard, stressing, not sleeping, etc... I even have the occasional beer. Needless to say my mood has likewise improved dramatically.
I wish everybody on here the best of luck. Just to recap (and offer hope), after my original "big and bad" concussion I had head aches and felt funny for nearly 2 years before the symptoms totally went away. I'm sure that's not the longest recovery time, either, so don't give up hope. Surely medical science will have something more to say about all this in the future as well.
Everyone take care and try to be optimistic (I know that's easier said than done). Have a good 2008.
