Default Hi all!

Glad to "meet" all of you!

I won't bore you with the litany of health problems I have myself, because the reason I surfed over here is to gain some knowledge that may help me help my son.

Don was on his third tour in Iraq when he and his partner were atttacked by a suicide bomber in July 2006. Among his many deficiencies now, are pronounced PTSD and TBI symptoms.

Just reading has helped already!

Default Hi FOWKI

Hi Fowki welcome to this forum.

You may want to check out a video by Dr. Robert Scare who specialize in the treatment of PTSD. WWW. Brain State Technologies. There a great deal of information on PTSD and treatment.

There are also several links for treatment in this forum.

Take Care Jeffn

Hi, welcome - all I could think is oh my goodness - I simply can not imagine what is must be like for your son. We in New Zealand now simply have no idea as to what it is like to have family fighting overseas. Though we do peace keeping on a minor scale. I so hope you find something on this site that can help.

Best wishes to your son and my gratitude for his service.

In dealing with my son's injury (PCS for 5 weeks) I have found that an open mind and questioning every doctor has been the best strategy. I'm hoping by searching for a solution medically, psycologically and holistically will get us there sooner -- I'll have to let you know if it works. Love this forum and all the resouces I have found here.

Good luck to you!
